Play-making running back Chris Johnson has finally received his big contract(was due to make $1 million, shameful) and will finally suit up for the Tennessee Titans as the season kicks off next Sunday! CJ signed a four year extension worth $53 million with $30 million guaranteed. Johnson has to now get to practice as a new offense is in place as the Titans have a new head coach, Mike Munchak and new offensive coordinator Chris Palmer who will have a different system than the one CJ is used too. The real question now is “What shape is Chris Johnson in?” As well as “How long is it going to take for him to learn the system?” Fantasy football drafters are on pins and needles to find out the answers to these questions. Chris Johnson rushed for over 2,000 yards two years ago, and 1,364 yards last year. He also scored 34 touchdowns on the ground in his short three year career thus far. Many other NFL players are excited about the “Playmaker” being back in uniform. Especially Adrian Peterson who is regarded by many as the top runningback in the NFL, and also in the last year of his contract. Viking management are shaking their heads right now as they know they will have to empty the bank to keep their cyborg running back. Chris Johnson has now set the bar high with his new contract, and with all of his new found money lets just hope that CJ fixes his teeth first!
